![]() ![]() Maybe I will take a closer look when I'm in need of something like this. In my opinion something like cells with 'important things to know' is essential for a good help doc. You can create a template to control the format when you publish your documentation using Word and PDF, instructing HelpNDoc to begin each new topic on a new page. In the script editor, you can now use the Load script drop down menu to rapidly load any system or user script. These intermediary files instruct HelpNDoc on how to generate. This update enhances the script editor and includes new scripts. HelpNDoc 3 introduces a new way of generating documentation through user-defined templates. See the table at the bottom of the last link. HelpNDoc includes a very powerful script editor, able to automate almost any part of your documentation process. I tried to use a table instead, but it looks horrible. The default HTML template now optionally supports Google Tag Manager. I couldn't find a template or something to do a cell with a special hint. Library panel now has an optional toolbar to conveniently access some common library actions. Maybe this is because I changed the fonts in the General Properties. The PDF file itself looked messed up because it was printed without correct right margin. After installing the HTML Help Update I got this message:Īnyway, at the next compile run anything was ok with the CHM file.Īlthough I renamed the topics in the treeview they where printed whith the original names in the PDF file. HelpNDoc comes with full source code for the template to create HTML documents online or website is designed exclusively for the iPhone: everything is controlled by the template. The Microsoft Help Workshop couldn't be found at the first compile but there was a link (which is nice again). But the readme didn't tell me where to put it. I could download a german dictionary easily, which is nice. We are glad to announce the release of HelpNDoc 6.5, a major update of the popular help authoring tool which can be downloaded completely free for personal use and evaluation purposes. I gave HelpNDoc a quick try (about 25 min.) ![]()
